NOTICE N°6 ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

With reference to RRS rule 89.2 b) the Organising Committee has amended the Notice of Race as follows:

The World Sailing Test Rule DR21-01 is applied. The definition Start is changed as follows:

START: A boat starts when her hull, having been entirely on the pre-start side of the starting line, crosses the starting line from the pre-start side to the course side:

a) at or after her starting signal

b) during the last 60 seconds before her starting signal.

If she starts according to point b) she shall not return to her pre-start side of the starting line and shall receive a 30% scoring penalty calculated in accordance with RRS 44.3(c).

 

>> Replace point 11 of the Notice of Race with the following.

11 – SCORING

Only for IRC Over60 class results will be calculated with the IRC TCC system “Time on Time” (ToT) as real time corrector.

IRC class results (except IRC Over60) will be calculated with the IRC system BSF “Time on Distance” (ToD)” as real time corrector.

ORC class results will be calculated with the ORC system APH All-Purpose “Time on Distance” (ToD) as real time corrector.

The Organizing Authority may, at its sole discretion, divide classes into sub-classes or groups according to the CDL, BSF or TCC value, (at least 6 boats for each sub-class or group) and the sub-classes or group’s rankings will be extrapolated from the respective overall rankings.

21. EQUIPMENT AND MEASUREMENT CHECKS
21.1 Each boat shall be in possession of a valid rating certificate issued before 6:00 pm on 31 May 2023. 21.2 The Technical Committee (TC) may inspect a boat before and after the race.
21.3 [DP] The Owner/Skipper shall complete and sign the Discharge of Liability Form concerning the yacht in which he declares that all safety equipment is on board and the yacht complies with the rating certificate requirements. The form must be submitted to the Race Office by 10:00 am on 1 June 2023.

21.4 All yachts shall be available at the moorings arranged by the Organizing Committee for the inspections that will take place from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm on 30 and 31 May 2023 with at least one crew member on board.
