The 151 Miglia – Trofeo Cetilar 2027 was officially unveiled at the Genoa International Boat Show. The 18th edition of the Mediterranean’s most popular offshore race will take place from 30 May to 1 June, starting from Livorno/Marina di Pisa and finishing in Punta Ala. Entries will open at 10:00 AM on 3 February.

As is tradition, the Genoa International Boat Show hosted the official preview of the new edition of the 151 Miglia – Trofeo Cetilar. On stage at the Eberhard & Co. Theatre, representatives of the Organizing Committee – Yacht Club Repubblica Marinara di Pisa, Yacht Club Punta Ala and Yacht Club Livorno – were joined by members of the sailing media and some of the race’s leading figures to share the excitement and spirit of the event with the audience.

Good to Sea You: the theme of the 18th edition

The presentation opened with a video message from Roberto Lacorte, President of YCRMP and founder of the race, who introduced the theme of the new edition, Good to Sea You: “It’s an important concept, a clever play on words that says everything about the way we organize the 151 Miglia and what we want to offer the crews taking part.”

The fleet, which exceeded 200 boats in the latest edition, confirms the 151 Miglia – Trofeo Cetilar as the Mediterranean’s most popular offshore race. The 2027 fleet will begin to take shape from 10:00 AM on 3 February, when entries officially open.

“Good to Sea You is our way of welcoming everyone to an event built around two equally important experiences,” Lacorte continued. “The first is the sporting side, out at sea: the competitive challenge along a magnificent course through the Tuscan Archipelago. Then there is the social side, with the events ashore, which is just as important and to which we devote considerable resources and attention. This is what the 151 Miglia is all about: a 360-degree event that aims to keep improving and bringing joy to everyone who takes part.”

The 151 Miglia – Trofeo Cetilar 2027 programme

The programme of recent years has also been confirmed for 2027. Following the 151 Winter Series, the winter event between Punta Ala and Livorno/Marina di Pisa designed to keep the fleet active during the colder months, the calendar continues with the 15.1 Run on 22 May, followed by the 15.1 Sail warm-up race and the Crew Party on 29 May.

On Sunday, 30 May, the 151 Miglia will get underway along the Livorno-Marina di Pisa-Gorgona-Pianosa-Formiche di Grosseto-Cerboli-Punta Ala route. The event will conclude with the renowned Dinner Party on 1 June, held in the outdoor areas of the Yacht Club in Punta Ala.
