Regatta Secretariat

All participating Ship Owners must complete their enrolments, including all documents, online only, in their reserved areas on this site. As specified in the Notice of Race, all documents must be uploaded on line no later than May 15th, 2021. Crew lists may be modified up to May 24th, 2021 using online procedures.

After May 24th, changes will only be possible, under exceptional circumstances, by sending an email to: segreteria@151miglia.it. Please specify the name of the boat owner, sail number, the name of the crew member who is being replaced, and the substitute’s name and FIV membership number.

Any boats whose enrolment has not been properly completed with all documents within the specified deadline will not be allowed to participate.

Covid Secretariat

All participants are required to show a negative swab test (PCR or antigen) carried out no more than 72 hours prior to the start of the competition, scheduled for 7pm on Friday May 28th, 2021.

Documentation must be sent in pdf format by email to tamponi@151miglia.it.
Ship Owners, or their representatives, must send a single e-mail containing the swab results of the whole crew, specifying in the subject line: NAME OF THE BOAT and SAIL NUMBER.
All swab tests must be accompanied with a signed consent form (click here to download the consent form).

In the event of a positive swab result from one or more participants, the crew coordinator must send immediate notification to tamponi@151miglia.it and segreteria@151miglia.it of the name of the person being replaced and the name, FIV membership number and negative swab result for the substitute. If the crew is forced to withdraw from the competition due to an excessively high number of positive members, the organisation will reimburse 50% of the enrolment fee.

Any boats which do not send the required documents within the set deadline will not be admitted to the competition.

Access to moorings at Livorno

The following conditions apply to all crews who will be accessing the infrastructure at the port of Livorno from one week before the event.

  1. Arrival of boats to port must always be preannounced through official channels.
  2. Should anyone on board have a temperature over 37.5°C or other flu symptoms, access to the mooring area is prohibited and the patient is obliged to return to his or her place of stay, notify the family doctor and the health authorities (by phoning 1500 or 112).
The same obligations must also be observed after arrival if anyone should feel the onset of symptoms (flu symptoms or temperature above 37.5°C).
  3. It is obligatory to respect all regulations set out by the health authority, particularly those concerning social distancing and personal health and hygiene instructions.
  4. The crew must access its boat as quickly as possible, without loitering on the wharfs so as to enable all boats to keep to access schedules.
  5. Any regatta material that is unloaded must not be left on the wharfs; it must be picked up by registered crew members in authorised vehicles. Access to the mooring area will not be allowed to others, except the driver of the authorised vehicle who may transfer the materials inside it.

Access to moorings at Punta Ala

In compliance with applicable health regulations, contact between crews must be avoided. Operations will be aided by the natural staggered arrival of the fleet after the regatta with the following procedures:

  1. In compliance with Race Regulations, arrival at the finish line will be announced over channel 71; boats must then await the arrival of a dinghy or ground staff for assistance in reaching its attributed mooring.
  2. After crossing the finish line, communications concerning entry to Punta Ala Marina must be transmitted over channel 9 only. The Marina will provide all indications about mooring, safety procedures and disembarking via radio.
  3. After disembarking, the routes indicated for exiting the Marina must be followed.
